Vijayawada IT Park inauguration heralds a new chapter in the country's IT/ITES sector
Today, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. K. Rosaiah has formally opened the prestigious Vijayawada IT Park known as L&T infocity. Built in a 30 acres land near Kesarapalli Village, the second Hi-Tec City of the state is located opposite to Gannavaram Airport and is well connected to National Highway 5 (NH5). The project is a joint venture(L&T Infocity) between Larsen&Toubro Limited and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (APIIC) and the phase I is completed in two years.

As Vijayawada IT/ITES SEZ park formally thrown open, many companies are expected to open their BPO and IT development centers in Vijayawada, which produces very significant talented workforce.
